Who is the audience for the classes?

My books have been used in the libraries of swallow support and memory support clinics, In the websites for caregivers for cancer treatment centers, for any clinical specialty where dysphagia is part of treatment or healing, such as oral surgery, bariatric surgery. ear nose and throat and gastroenterology. My colleague, a former manager of long-term care at a major insurance company in Florida, told me that in her visits to healthcare facilities all over the state, the greatest complaint that she heard from the Motel 6 level of facility to the Ritz-Carlton level was of boring tasteless food. My state senator thanked me for bringing her attention to the problem of nutrition for the elderly, in her role as a member of the Committee on Children, Families and Elder Affairs. My mission has been to educate family and professional caregivers and chefs in healthcare facilities. This is a quality of life issue. Nothing is more fundamental than food for improving quality of life and overall health. This is completely under the control of the individual. Food is medicine.
